SPRAY BOOTHS

Down-Draft Spray Booths

This airflow style is generally noted as the most efficient airflow style when it comes to controlling over-spray and contamination. Air is introduced to the booth from a filtered ceiling plenum that runs across the entire length of the booth. Air then travels vertically across the product and into the filtered exhaust pit in the floor. The filtered exhaust pit can either be made from a concrete pit, or by elevating the entire booth to what is known as a Raised Down-Draft Booth.

This booth style is highly sought after by the aviation, rail, transit, truck and automotive finishing an refinishing sectors.

Side Down-Draft Spray Booths

The Side Down-Draft Spray Booth is the ideal configuration for setups in which an in-ground or raised pit are not feasible. In this airflow design air is introduced to the booth from a filtered ceiling plenum that runs across the entire length of the booth. Air then travels vertically across the product and exits through ground-level exhaust chambers on either one or both sides of the booth.

This booth style is a economical alternative to the traditional down-draft with very similar airflow direction. Our Side Down-Draft Booths also come with optional drive-through capabilities.

Semi Down-Draft Spray Booths

The Semi Down-Draft Spray Booth is known as the work-horse of spray booths. With an airflow design that introduces air into the booth through a partial filtered ceiling plenum at the front of the booth. Air then travels horizontally across the entire length of the booth and exits through a rear filter wall.

This booth configuration is extremely versatile and is therefore ideal virtually all sectors including automotive, industrial, and woodworking industries. Our Semi Down-Draft Booths also come with optional drive-through capabilities.

Cross-Draft Spray Booths

The Cross-Draft airflow configuration is the most economical of the enclosed spray booths. With the cross-draft spray booth air is introduced to the booth by pulling facility air through a set of filtered product doors, the air then travels across the booth horizontally and exits through a rear filter wall. Alternatively, Cross-Draft Booths can be pressurized in which a make-up air unit is ducted directly into an air-supply filter wall instead of the filtered product doors.

Open Face Spray Booths

The Open Face Spray Booth is the perfect product for small to medium sized applications where an enclosed booth is not necessary. Elite’s modular design is unique because it can be used in its open configuration for as long as required and can be upgraded at a later date to become an enclosed booth if your needs change or you are looking for a more contained environment. We can customize our booths to be used with a conveyor system which allows for easy finishing in large-quantity production scenarios.
